New York-born Vin Phillips: Deeply skilled award-winning Real Estate professional with over 50 years business experience, still calls Australia home…
Vin Phillips was born near New York, USA and was educated in Florida graduating with Honours from the University of South Florida. He migrated to Australia with his wife Gale in 1968. They were both naturalised as Australians in 1972 on the Gold Coast by Mayor Sir Bruce Small.

During the early 1970s Vin and Gale travelled extensively by road all around Australia before the advent of most of the current bitumen roads!

They then took a slow boat to Europe via South America and lived in London for 8 months before returning to Australia overland, camping in tents from London to India and then travelling on to Australia via Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore. Since 1974 they have both lived in South East Queensland.

Vin loves living in this part of the world and is happy to share his wealth of information on the islands to his real estate customers. His approach to real estate is always highly ethical, professional, honest, genuine and down to earth.

In 2009 he was Employee of the Year at the First National Action Realty in Ipswich and also won sales awards after moving to Go Gecko Real Estate at Flinders View and Yamanto, prior to making the sea change to Macleay Island and joining L J Hooker.

Vin is a multi-million dollar salesperson on the islands and has recently won L J Hooker awards as a top property lister and Captain’s Club Member. He is a great communicator who believes nothing can beat good old fashioned service, and he has plenty of satisfied customers who will happily agree!
